This application developed by Bunker One serves as a practical tool for consulting the ISO 8217 standards for residual and distillate marine fuels, specifically the 2005, 2010/2012, and 2017 editions. It offers a streamlined interface that facilitates quick reference to key regulatory standards relevant to the industry.

The application includes several integrated calculators designed for common fuel-related computations, enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy. The calculators cover the following functions:

<li>CCAI Number based on ISO 8217</li>
<li>Cetan Index computed via ASTM D 976-80 (legacy method)</li>
<li>Cetan Index computed via ASTM D 4737-87 (latest method)</li>
<li>Deviation calculations as specified by Bunker One</li>
<li>Energy and price correlation analyses per Bunker One standards</li>
<li>Fuel blending calculations, including viscosity blending according to ASTM D 7152 and sulphur blending as defined by Bunker One</li>
<li>Injection temperature estimations as per Bunker One procedures</li>
<li>Specific gross and net energy content aligned with ISO 8217</li>
<li>Viscosity Index following ASTM D 341</li>
<li>Volume Correction Factor based on ASTM D1250-80, Table 5B</li>
</ul>

It should be noted that all input data must be provided in SI units, with resultant outputs also presented in SI units. To differentiate fuel types, the application defines distillates as fuels with densities below 900 kg/m3, while straight-run fuels are characterized by densities less than 950 kg/m3.

Additionally, updates and news posted on the Bunker One website (Bunkerone.com) are integrated into the app, with notifications sent to app users and links available under the "news" section, ensuring users stay informed about relevant developments.
